Summer Giveaway & Exciting News!

Speech Therapy Fun: Summer Giveaway

Base COmmon Object

I’m sure this past month has been crazy for you with the school year coming to an end!  I know you understand how this time of year goes, so thank you for understanding why I haven’t blogged in so long!

In addition to the end of the year craziness, there might be another small reason that I haven’t blogged in a month.  I’ve been a little (very) nauseous these past 6 weeks…yes, I’m pregnant!  My husband and I are very happy to say that we will be having our third baby in December.  We have always wanted three children, so we are very blessed to say that our prayers have been answered.

Slide2That being said, we have come to a decision that I will be a stay at home mom next school year.  I’m a little hesitant to do this, but I really want to be home with the kids and spend a lot of time with them.  It’s going to be really hard to leave the kids at school, but I’m not going to lie, I won’t miss the medicaid, logs or IEPs!

I hope that you will still stick with me next year, as I still plan on staying involved in the SLP community, blogging, taking CEUs and creating materials for you!  This blog and coming up with new and fun ideas is truly a passion of mine that I could not give up.  How do I plan on still creating materials and coming up with ideas when I’m not working with kids?  Well, I have a 4 year old and 19 month old at home, so they will be my guinea pigs…plus, my 19 month old is developing language slowly, so I may be practicing next year after all!

Anyways, I wanted to tell you because this is a big decision for me, but also, you as my reader.  Thank you for supporting my passion and taking the time to read my posts 🙂

So, in celebration of the end of the year AND my big news, I am hosting a giveaway.  If you struggle with finding summer homework for your students and if you love Target, this is a great giveaway for you!

First, I wanted to say thank you to The Speech Ladies for offering to give away their Summer Articulation Packet.  This packet is amazing and includes 8 weeks worth of homework with a quick activity 5 days a week. The activities are generic, so it can be used for any phoneme! It also includes a cover letter, letter to parents and 2 bonus activities!

I will also include my Articulation Homework Flip Book Bundle and my Language Homework for Daily Activities.  Plus, as a congratulations for getting through the year, I am also including a $10 Target gift card!
